Re: (MOVIE) The Other Boleyn Girl
I watched it a few weeks ago with my husband (who liked it)
I thought it was good but it made me want to read the book because I had so many unanswered questions AND I wanted to know how much of this was TRUE and how much of it was hollywood--I can't wait to read the book I hope I can get that next-I have also done a little bit of research (just a bit) since watching the movie it made me that curious. It is such a different time in History after watching this movie I am glad I didn't live back then women had so few choices/options I think it would have been hard to have brains but be treated like you didn't have any--

My aunt has the movie and she is letting me borrow it. i haven't seen it yet because I JUST finished the book. I normally have a rule: don't watch the movie till I have read the book!!!

Movie very different
The Movie is very different than the book--The book is more detailed and makes more sense than the movie--

Yeah I agree, The movie was kind of confusing compared to the book. The book made sense, but the movie if you hadn't read the book wouldn't have made sense.

I spent most of my time watching this movie actually shouting "That's not what really happened! Why did they change it?" Overall, I guess, the gist was the same, but I thought the book was much better. It's usually that way.
